Privacy is an illusion. Social media is a killer.
Led by an elusive, power-hungry Russian oligarch, black hat hacker Paula Jankovic, ISIS leader Abu al-Badri, and their team of career-criminals unleash a superstorm of dark data that aims to trigger a societal and financial collapse of apocalyptic proportions. Rookie journalist Rebecca Taft receives a cryptic code that just might hold the key to thwarting their insidious plans – locked in a most deadly game of wits, will she be able to solve this puzzle of pandemonium before it’s too late?
Douglas J. Wood delivers an unsettling glimpse into the near-future, as experts he interviewed in the writing of his book warn that this dystopian reality is one “click,” “share,” “tweet,” or “like” away.
